Jones Superb Against Charlotte Friday, August 28th , 2111 The Charlotte Stone Crabs met their match today in Palm Beach hurler Elijah Jones. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 5-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Charlotte skipper Victor Beltran said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 1-0 victory, Jones whiffed 7 and gave up 4 walks.
