Blue Jays Win Round 2
Tuesday, September 22nd , 2105
The Dunedin Blue Jays were good enough to get past the St. Lucie Mets at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium today and secure the 15th championship in franchise history.
"When you wear Blue Jays on your shirt, you're good at something," Dunedin skipper Quinn Autrey told the press.
Blue Jays center fielder Alan Ballew was named MVP of the series after he went .375 with no home runs and 4 RBI.
"It feels totally incredible," Ballew said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment."
The new champions capped off a great season with a 3-0 victory over the Mets to win the Round 2 4-1.
