River Bandits Blank LumberKings, Norris Wins Sunday, July 13th , 2098 It was a smooth and solid performance by Avery Norris of the Quad Cities River Bandits against the Clinton LumberKings today. He crafted a fine 5-hitter to blank the LumberKings 11-0. He chalked up 7 strikeouts and 1 walk along the way. "It certainly makes my job easy when my pitcher tosses a shutout," said Quad Cities skipper Rich Mejia. "I can just sit back, watch and enjoy."
