Kane County Goes Scoreless Against Miller, Bees
Friday, July 31st , 2111
It was not a good day at the plate for the Kane County Cougars. They came up empty when it mattered against Burlington Bees right-hander Justin Miller, who scattered 4 hits across 9 innings and held the Cougars scoreless.
"We had 4 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Kane County manager Vince Lindsay said later.
Miller chalked up 7 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 2-0 Bees win.
This year, Miller has posted a record of 2 wins and no losses with a 1.60 ERA. He has appeared in 5 games and struck out 28 in 33.2 innings.
