River Bandits Move on to Round 2 Saturday, September 13th , 2098 The Quad Cities River Bandits are on to the Round 2 after a convincing series win over the Kane County Cougars. Quad Cities wrapped up the series sweep with a 8-6 win in the last game, to take the series 3-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Alex Romero, who was named series MVP. For the series, Romero hit .533 with a .562 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Quad Cities River Bandits don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Lake County Captains - Fort Wayne TinCaps series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
