Edmund Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Friday, August 16th , 2097 Asheville Tourists third baseman Luke Edmund really lit up the Charleston RiverDogs with a 5-hit barrage today at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park -- a performance that sparked the Tourists to a 9-4 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Luke Edmund singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season Edmund is batting .243 with 6 home runs.
