Fireflies Heading to Round 2 Sunday, September 15th , 2097 With a 7-3 win to wrap up the series at Lake Olmstead Stadium, the Columbia Fireflies have eliminated the Augusta GreenJackets in the Round 1 and move on to the Round 2. Columbia controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 3-0 sweep. Jamie Heath led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .500 batting average, along with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The Columbia Fireflies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Kannapolis Intimidators - Hickory Crawdads series. That series is tied at 1 game each.
