Muckdogs Blank Lowell, Ficca Winner Thursday, July 17th , 2104 Vince Ficca kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Batavia Muckdogs were all smiles after winning, 2-0, against the Lowell Spinners at Dwyer Stadium. The left-handed Ficca gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits, and tallied 9 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Ficca said later.
