No-Hitter for Knoblock Saturday, August 9th , 2098 Excitement reigned at MCU Park today as Brooklyn Cyclones hurler Mike Knoblock tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter. After defeating the Lowell Spinners, 3-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments. "I'm just glad to be here," Knoblock said. "Today I just went right at the Spinners as hard as I could, as long as I could." Knoblock chalked up 14 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks in his superb performance.
