"Chris was just locating so well and using his pitches," Mahoning Valley manager Ramiro Tobar said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Huffstickler recorded 8 strikeouts and 3 walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Staten Island manager Erik Bowman said in postgame comments to BNN.
