Snoeberger Befuddles Vermont in 2-0 West Virginia Win Friday, September 11th , 2111 The Vermont Lake Monsters were almost helpless in their 2-0 loss to the West Virginia Black Bears and hurler Adrian Snoeberger. Snoeberger kept the Lake Monsters confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Snoeberger," Vermont manager Dana Joseph said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 21-year-old left-hander had 1 walk and 6 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Snoeberger said.
