Hillsboro Sweeps into the Round 2 Wednesday, September 17th , 2110 It was a sweet sweep for the Hillsboro Hops as they eased past the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes to advance to the Round 2. Hillsboro won the final game by a 3-1 count and the series 3-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Miguel Guillen, who was named series MVP. For the series, Guillen hit .462 with a .462 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Hillsboro Hops don't know who they will face in the next round.
