Emeralds Cruise to Round 3 with Sweep Wednesday, September 26th , 2108 After their 4-1 win today at Ballpark of Fremont over the Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers, the Eugene Emeralds will advance to the Round 3. Eugene won the series by a 4-0 margin. Leading the way for the Emeralds was center fielder Jaylen Craighead, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Eugene Emeralds don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Chicago A (SS-A) White Sox - Cincinnati (SS-A) Reds series. Cincinnati (SS-A) leads the series 2 games to 1.
