White Sox Win Round 2 Thursday, September 25th , 2098 The Chicago A (SS-A) White Sox said they felt the Round 2 with the Tri-City Dust Devils would go the distance. But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Chicago A (SS-A) advanced to the Round 3 with a 6-0 score, to clinch the series 4-1 at Gesa Stadium. "Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Mamoru Yamakawa, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the Round 3." For the series, Yamakawa hit .389 with a .421 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 10 RBI and scored 6 runs.
