Chicago A (SS-A) Defeats Spokane Sunday, October 5th , 2098 The Chicago A (SS-A) White Sox pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the Round 3 in a hard-fought series with the Spokane Indians. It was a seesaw affair, but with a 1-0 victory at Ballpark of Jersey City, Chicago A (SS-A) lay claim to the franchise's 5th championship. "There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said George D'Amico Jr.. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today." The champs finished the regular season 53-23 and claimed first place in the North Division. A victory parade is set to be scheduled in Chicago A (SS-A) in the days to come.
