Spokane Moves on to Round 2 Thursday, September 19th , 2097 The excitement in Spokane is palpable as the local club has advanced through the Round 1. The Spokane Indians downed the Hillsboro Hops 3-1 tonight at Avista Stadium, to take the series 3-1. "Things are going to get crazy in Spokane for the Round 2. The fans are going to be behind us 100 percent, we know that," said Branden Clark, who earned MVP honors. "There's a lot of motivation in our clubhouse right now to make sure we give them something to cheer about." For the series, Clark hit .385 with a .429 on-base percentage.
