Volcanoes Move on to Round 3 Friday, September 27th , 2097 It was a sweet sweep for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes as they eased past the Spokane Indians to advance to the Round 3. Salem-Keizer won the final game by a 9-4 count and the series 4-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Justin Johnson, who was named series MVP. For the series, Johnson hit .368 with a .368 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes don't know who they will face in the next round.
