Matt Bobrick Bashes Three over the Wall Saturday, August 31st , 2097 San Francisco (AZL) Giants center fielder Matt Bobrick left the Cincinnati (AZL) pitching staff in ruins at Ed Smith Stadium today, beating the Reds 18-7 with a prodigious three-home run performance. "The last one was totally unexpected," Bobrick told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three." For the game, the San Francisco (AZL) center fielder had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 8 and scored 5 runs. Matt Bobrick struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Nick Jones in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jose Diaz in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
