Hitting Streak Still Alive for Maldonado Saturday, August 17th , 2097 Miguel Maldonado's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-5 in a 5-4 Great Falls Voyagers triumph over the Grand Junction Rockies at Centene Stadium. The 22-year-old left fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Voyagers. Miguel Maldonado doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 9th. Presently Maldonado is batting .332 with 4 home runs and 41 RBIs. He has played in 53 games and scored 30 times. |
