Cubs Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire Wednesday, September 17th , 2104 The Chicago (Rk+) Cubs and Las Vegas (Rk+) Hustle hooked up in a classic Round 1 that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Chicago (Rk+) heading off to the Round 2, after a 11-7 win at Harbingers Ballpark tonight earned the 3-2 series win. Outside Harbingers Ballpark, whether they were supporters of Chicago (Rk+) or Las Vegas (Rk+), many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Bert Heathcote played the hero for the Cubs in the series, as his MVP performance included a .400 batting average, with a .400 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 4 runs.
