Owlz Heading to Round 3 Tuesday, September 23rd , 2110 The championship aspirations of the Orem Owlz are still alive and well, while the Ogden Raptors are left to wait until next year. Orem won the clinching game of the Round 2 2-0 over Ogden at Lindquist Field, to win the series 4-2. "You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this," said second baseman Bobby Canales, who paced the Orem offense and was named series MVP. "We take everything real seriously when we're on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit." Canales claimed the MVP by racking up 6 hits for a .333 average, with a .429 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Orem Owlz don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Billings Mustangs - Texas (Rk+) Rangers series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece.
