Helena Advances to Round 2 Monday, September 15th , 2098 The Helena Brewers triumphed 7-5 over the Seattle (Rk+) Mariners at Kindrick Legion Field in the Round 1 to capture it 3-1. The victory advanced the Brewers to the Round 2. For his superb play in the series, Brewers first baseman Mark Perry garnered the series MVP trophy, hitting .444, scoring 4 runs and batting in 6. "Only thing better than getting MVP for winning in the playoffs would be winning MVP for winning in the Round 3," Perry said later. "I'll get to work on that." The Helena Brewers will play against the Ogden Raptors in the next round. Ogden won their series against the Texas (Rk+) Rangers 3 games to 0.
