Ogden Wins Round 1 Thursday, September 17th , 2111 The Ogden Raptors are off to the Round 2 after an exciting Round 1 triumph. Ogden downed the Grand Junction Rockies, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 6-1 win tonight at Lindquist Field wrapping up the series 3-2. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Chris Hoover, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Hoover put up a .467 with a .467 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 0 home runs, drove in 2 runs and scored 0 runs himself. The Ogden Raptors will play against the Texas (Rk+) Rangers in the next round. Texas (Rk+) won their series against the Great Falls Voyagers 3 games to 1.
