Cubs Win Round 1 Thursday, September 19th , 2097 The Chicago (Rk+) Cubs and Helena Brewers didn't hold back anything in the Round 1, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Round 2. Chicago (Rk+) won the final game by a score of 7-0 at Harbingers Ballpark and that concluded the series, 3-2. "Relief is the biggest thing," Chicago (Rk+) second baseman Phil Robbins said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Helena deserves credit for the hard fight." Robbins paced the Chicago (Rk+) offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .421 with a .450 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Chicago (Rk+) Cubs will play against the Great Falls Voyagers in the next round. Great Falls won their series against the Billings Mustangs 3 games to 1.
