Round 2 Goes the Distance, Great Falls Prevails Sunday, September 29th , 2097 In a series that had a little bit of everything, the Great Falls Voyagers have edged the Chicago (Rk+) Cubs. The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested Round 2, with a 5-2 win in the clincher being the difference for Great Falls and giving them the ticket to the Round 3 with a 4-3 series triumph. "We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Jeremy Nussbaum, who was named series MVP. For the series, Nussbaum hit .367 with a .424 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Great Falls Voyagers will play against the Missoula Osprey in the next round. Missoula won their series against the Seattle (Rk+) Mariners 4 games to 0.
