The Blue Jays today announced that they have come to terms with Edwin Castaneda, a 33-year-old center fielder they’ve been scouting for a while.
Castaneda will earn $13,000,000 a year over 3 years and is expected to play a key role with the club.
Castaneda has a lifetime .273 batting average and .342 on-base percentage in his 1441-game career with 1447 hits and 229 home runs.
